“On the other hand, the general belt-tightening means that the telecommunications market will not be in a hurry to put money on the more costly 2T2R ADSL 11n,” the CEO opines. “Despite a bit higher price tag, 1T1R 11n can run three times as fast 11g and offer much better transmission quality. We believe it will be no more than a matter of time for 1T1R 11n gateways to replace 11g models.”
TrendChip has come up with a comprehensive 11n solution ahead of its peers and its telecommunications partners should be able to begin deploying such products from the second quarter of the year.
